VBS.Trojan.Icon is a Trojan horse that modifies the Windows registry.

The modification to the registry causes HTML files to have a different icon from the default one.
This Trojan has no other payloads.

Run LiveUpdate to make sure that you have the most recent virus definitions.
  1. Start Norton AntiVirus (NAV), and run a full system scan. Be sure that NAV is configured to scan all files.
  2. Delete all files that are detected as VBS.Trojan.Icon.
